<h5>All the images in this show were shot in digital raw color format.  My quest has been about finding a good color image and making it better in black and white.</h5>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h5>The process has taken me on a re-examination of hundreds of image files through Apple&#8217;s Aperture program, on to Nik Silver Efex Pro, and ending with Photoshop.</h5>
<h5>I don&#8217;t love all the hours behind a computer, but I&#8217;m starting to like the results.</h5>

the photographic image is transformed by digital dark room techniques<br />
and intense painterly manipulation to create textures and effects that<br />
attempt to bridge the unique properties of photography and painting,<br />
a process he has dubbed the &#8220;painted photo montage.&#8221;</p>
